Hi, I'm Karra.
I spent my twenties soul searching — studying Spanish and travelling through Mexico, South and Central America. I stumbled upon yoga quite unexpectedly in Guatemala, with a teacher that moved between headstands and astral travel. At the time, I didn't really know what I was stepping into. However, over the years, as my relationship with yoga deepened, I began to realise it was the language my heart and soul had always been searching for.
It has remained a constant thread of steadiness over the past 15 years, through injuries, challenges, growth, transformation and the beautiful unravelling of motherhood as a mother of three boys. A place to return to. A practice that meets me wherever I am.
Bhāva is the feeling that arises when we turn inwards — that quiet orientation of the heart steered toward itself. It is what yoga has given me. And it is what I want to offer you.
I feel deeply called to hold sacred space, plant seeds of yogic wisdom, and offer gentle gateways into this ancient practice — and the many ways it can support us through the seasons of life.
Trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Pre & Postnatal Yoga, I am forever a student — inspired to learn, to deepen and to share.
I'm so grateful to be here, as Bhāva begins to take root in our South Coast community.
The light that yoga sheds on life is something special. It does not just change the way we see things; it transforms the person who sees.
